Does that make sense or am I just rambling? I don't know, now I'm confused. I put it away for now, cause its going to be a long week at work and I'm too exhausted for crafting by the time I get home, so maybe I will just have to think about it. Fleece for the back sounds warm and cozy, I have never worked with fleece before, is it hard to work with or will it be ok?Kainoahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06028164564630506237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4629217942696182058.post-87912774833819672642007-09-30T15:11:00.000-06:002007-09-30T15:11:00.000-06:00Yeah I was a tad bit confused about that too... t...Yeah I was a tad bit confused about that too... then I thought maybe you were going to appliques the quilt top on to the black so that it was a lot bigger, but then I couldn't figure out why you didn't just do it with a border and save yourself extra fabric.Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16794592162573251230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4629217942696182058.post-13214688487504803572007-09-30T07:23:00.000-06:002007-09-30T07:23:00.000-06:00i love the colors and the pattern. i always think ...i love the colors and the pattern. i always think flannel should be used as backing cause it's so soft and comfy, but i'm not sure that would match with this quilt. maybe you should do black for the back too. i think it's best to keep the rest of it simple so the focus remains on the quilted pieces part.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03065434099487676088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4629217942696182058.post-68689299178565910702007-09-30T06:50:00.000-06:002007-09-30T06:50:00.000-06:00ok, wait...is the black fabric your backing for th...ok, wait...is the black fabric your backing for the quilt? did you already sew the bias tape on? if the black is the backing and you've already sewn on the bias tape then you need to take the bias tape off, make a quilt sandwich with the top, batting and the backing, quilt the quilt and then bind it with the bias tape. if not then i'm confused.

marie sent me some of that exact fabric. it's really cute.Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00028600889013935580noreply@blogger.com
