Okay, so commenting that I really wished Joanna and I had gotten a picture of the two of us together when she was accidentally overnight in Dallas got me to thinking - I do have some really great pictures of us together! The quality is not great since I took pictures of the actual printed picture to get it in my computer, but the effect is still great! So what do you think of these for our blog:
This one is for all of you who have never seen Joanna with make-up on!
Don't you love the braces?? I wish I had the picture of the pink cake with green and blue swirl frosting we made!
Well, this one is just of Jo by herself, but it is just classic. I call it Hippie Jo!
Okay, I had way too much fun with this!

OH MY GOSH!
I MEAN, OH MY GOSH!
What's wrong, Jo? Cat got your tongue??
Hmmm, now I am kinda glad you don't have any pictures of me!!!!
Oh, I thought these were fun - there was no mean spirit. I love these pictures - they are full of great memories for me. Do they seem mean? I can remove the post - I had no intention of being mean spirited!!
Not necessarily mean, I would just have been embarrassed if that was me.
it's not embarassing at all. it's funny and i'm sure my face probably got red but i had a good time making sure del saw the pictures (horrified would be the word for his face about the picture with the makeup) and the girls thought they were funny and even my mom laughed pretty heartily. it's funny, thanks for making me remember that i wasn't always this old and i shouldn't take myself so seriously.
The only redeeming factor about the pictures with the make-up is that we were trying to go for a "too made-up" look. Somewhere I have a close up of the eyeshaddow we did that day - I think we had a compact with 12 colors and we made sure to use them all on each eye!! Neither of us were normally "made up" like that!
i think the pictures are great! why would you be embarrassed or horrified? you guys look so cute and silly and young. it looks fun! anyway, before i read that the first picture was you guys with make-up on, i was trying to figure out what was wrong with joanna's eyes :) makes sense now that you guys had put a whole rainbow on them.
LOL! that's hilarious! i had totally forgotten about that compact, but you're right. it was lots of colors for a tiny space.
my favorite part is the "hypercolor" shirt!
i think we look like sisters.
Sisters...awww, that's the sweetest thing you could have said to me! :)
And I loved that hypercolor shirt! I felt so "cool" in it!
