Almost, but not quite......

Ok, so I am getting there, thanks to the help of Derrek helping me understand the directions, gosh I felt dumb! I was gettting frustrated and ended up throwing the ball on the table and walking away, but he saved the day and was patient and helped me re-do it the right way. I think sometimes I just want o hurry up and get to the end result and then I rush and screw up and get frustrated. I need to slow down and enjoy, crafting is not supposed to make me crazy! So I am almost done stuffing and sewing the last part up, but I learned a lot, I need to sew the corners better and stuff it more, but not too shabby for my first one. The other picture I just had to include, my cat "Trooper" wanted to go back to Amazon.com and bring me some books, so he waiting to get mailed out! I thought it was cute!

awwww... that is so cute that derrek had to help you :) you're lucky that you have have a crafty guy. i bet that allows him to have a better appreciation for the things that you make. i think the ball is looking a lot better! i had trouble with my first ball too. but after a couple of them, you won't have to even look at the pattern. and trooper is so cute.

lol... That reminds me of the Christmas stockings that I tried to make for my brother and sister in law. Mike ended up having to help finish them so that they would actually get there by Christmas time.

Isn't it funny how we can lose our patience or mess something up and the men in our lives help save the day?

cute cat. i am pretty well convinced at this point that unless we have a few acres minimum we will never have a pet. we'd get a cat to catch the mice in the barn and a dog to chase away the foxes from the chicken coop. we'd have a cow to slaughter every year and maybe some goats or sheep but i'm just not into cleaning up dog poo from my back yard or cat pee from my house. i hope you all have pets my girls can play with.
