I must just be anal... or tired.
I picked out the practice fabrics for my first notetaker over a week ago. How much have I progressed since then? Nada. I pull it out and look at the pattern and fold it back up and do other things. First, to my defense I don't get much time to do more than that. There is also the other part though. It just says wow, look how pretty the pattern is. Nice quality paper and not that really thin stuff that patterns usually come printed on. Ahhh... no stray marks. No need to adjust it for measurements or cause I don't like the way it looks...(though I may change part of it later on). It is just so perfect. Why would I want to cut it up? So do I make copies of the pattern so that the original is still in tack? That just sounds so ANAL!
So instead, I use the excuse that I am too tired and that if I were to start it now I would surely mess it up in some way. In fact, that is what I am going to do now. Though I did get a little further with it. I decided which materials would be used for what part... at least mostly. Still one up for debate. I would show you the material, but alas, no. It has come time to fold it all up and go to bed. I wish I just had more time!!!

YES YES YES! make a copy for yourself! scan it into your computer so if you ever lose the original you still have it. i'm the same way with patterns. make a copy or you'll have to buy it again and that would stink!
i am totally excited to see the end product so get hopping!
What did you decide? I would just cut it up, just because I never would have thought to make a copy. You gals just think of everything...
So the copy machine wasn't big enough. But don't worry Jo, The pattern is safe. I did my usual copy it with tissue paper and then cut it out, then cut out the fabric then the interfacing.... I am already getting tierd of cutting out and I am not even to the interfacing yet.
I find that the tissue paper works well though cause it is thin enough to trace through, but cost effective. (dollar store, 50 sheets for $1. Now that is cheap enough.)
Now I am just debating it I want to cut up some of the yellow material I have for it. I mean, I think I bought it for something else... but what was it? Will I ever use it for the original purpose???
