Something to Say

So, when I went to Joann's this past Saturday, I happened upon their knitting book rack, which I didn't even know they had. I found this super cute book and used one of the 40% coupons to buy it! What a great deal! Shane and I talked about it and I am definitely going to make the outfit on the cover. Guess for who!!! That's right! I'm with fertilized egg. Johanna, I hope this means that you will have the same very shortly. I will be so very sad otherwise. But I think there is a baby boom going on here, so all signs point to you being next in line.

Now ladies, I will try my hardest not to go on and on about being pregnant. I really love being pregnant and tend to be the type that is compelled to stop strangers on the street to say "I'm pregnant!" How annoying, huh? :) Anyway, I felt a little weird about making this post with only this news to say, but you all are my dear friends and I just want to share this with you. I'll be posting details and funny stories of hormonally charged episodes on my personal blog, which is linked in the right column. Go there to see pictures of my belly and ultrasounds (when we get some that is.)

YYYEEEAAAHHH!!!! I am so happy for you! And the outfit on the cover is a definite must - I am looking forward to all your posts about what you are making and feeling and what hormonal outbursts you are having! I also love being pregnant - so I completely understand! Congratulations, Marie! I know how you have been wanting this for a long time now. When's the official due date?

Although, I'm assuming the kid is a girl, I'll play it safe and make the outfit in a lightish brown. Did you see how it has mits attached! I just love it, clever and useful!

As for the due date, when I use online calculators, it says Nov 10. But Kaiser said Nov 12. I'll talk to them about it at our first appointment in three weeks.

ok, so i was just looking at the colors for the yarn I'll be using and i think i will wait til i know if it's a boy or girl cause they have the most beautiful colors. but can i possibly be that patient for 15 weeks?

You can wait 15 weeks because I am guessing it will take you that long to knit up one of the "maternity" sweaters you posted about a few weeks back! When that is done, you will not only be able to start to need maternity clothes, but you will be ready to knit that cute baby outfit in just the right color!
