- the material for the hat is too flimsy
- the material for the brim is too thin
- the green material on the brim doesn't "go"
- the brim is too big
- the brim is too floppy
- I didn't like the way it was put together

The fabric on the indide of the hat I love!!! She looks so cute, with that huge smile on her face!!
cute kid! it's hard to love a hat that you yourself don't like much. but i think it's probably a lot easier to see all the problems in person. so how did the pattern makers end up with a brim less floppy? what are you're ideas for fixing it?
i need to use a more substantial material and fuse the interfacing to the top of the brim instead of the bottom. a nice quilting weight fabric would be ideal, i think.
