On wonderful husbands and current projects...

This is the gift my husband surprised me with recently... aren't they beautiful? They are the new Knit Picks Harmony wood straits set. I was so excited. :-) He is certainly worth all the trouble... sometimes!

Here is a whole mess of chinese waves dishcloths I have been making. Nice to have the instant gratification of a quick project

This is my current pair of socks. I did (amazingly) finish the Dublin bay socks in time for my Mother in law's birthday. She really seemed to love them. I did, however forget to get a picture. Darn it. Just imagine an absolutely prefect pair of hand knit socks. Most beautiful you have ever seen. Trust me, they look just like that.

These next few yarns I picked up at I Knit Day in Lodon at the beginning of this month. (where I got to hear Stephanie Pearl-McPhee speak. (SOO much fun- she is hilarious!)
This first one will be my next pair of socks.....

This next one is going to be My-So-Called-Scarf. I would be further along, but oh-so-sadly, Elena jumped on my really-pretty-and-nearly-brand-new-harmony wood- needle and broke it in half. Sigh. So, when my replacement pair come in I will knit like mad on this wonderful silk blend wool.
ps- I didn't kill her. Pretty good restraint, huh?

Those needles are *so* pretty! I can't believe one got broken so quickly! That must have been frustrating! But, I'm glad you didn't hurt anyone :) I love the My So Called scarf. I've thought many times about starting one, but haven't. I'm really interested to see it goes for you.
