My first experience with felting

Have finally finished a project! I am still working on my blanket. Mid-way through my third row now, but felt like actually completing something!
I had found this pattern for a felted laptop sleeve and happened to have some appropriate yarn. I used knit picks Wool of the Andes. This used 2 strands held together so I used 1 lake ice heather and 1 iris heather. I had never felted anything before, but I thought this was great. It felted like crazy and so while it dried I had to stretch the heck out of it, but now it is perfectly sized. I have finally sewn in the zipper and am looking around for something simple to embroider on the bottom corner. Any ideas where I can find something?

That is great! I have seen finished felted projects and thought that would be fun, I mean you get to punch the daylights out of the thing, and after a long day with kids it might be a good thing to take some frustration out on the knitted thing..... but since I haven't ever knitted much, and have always protested all things yarn related, it tends to leave me without much things to felt. LOL.... though I did learn how to knit lately....
