any idea...

why I can't get a pic to post with my comment? I did it before, obviously, but it freezes up now everytime I try. Not a big deal... was only going to throw up a quick picture of my 'scarf'. Boy is this thing dull! I am determined to finish it though, then I will allow myself to do something with a bit more color. I have gotten the hang of it pretty well now, and the friend that has been helping me says I am doing well. :-) It really is loads of fun!

Ok... once the pic is on the computer, go to the Blogger posting screen. at the top of the typing part is a bunch of symbols. Click on the one that is a picture. Another screen should pop up that lets you choose where you want the pic to come from. Then click upload picture.

Is this where it freezes? If so, it might be easier to email the picture to yourself, or to another computer and we can post it for you. It probably means that the hard drive is too full to process it or that the connection isn't able to work with the blogger website.

If it doesn't freeze, then a bunch of stuff will come up back at the main blogger posting site. It will start with an < a and end with an a > All that in between is the actual picture. Don't mess with any of the stuff in there. The text should be on the outside of the <>'s.

Then publish when you are done.

i really like the color! what kind of yarn is it? i think it's very good for a first scarf. usually, first-time knitters drop or make up stitches, but yours looks like a very well-shaped rectangle.

It is Alpaca wool. feels rather nice actually. I have dropped several stitches, but I am really anal about counting my stitches every few rows, so I always go back and fix it!

That looks great, Tina. Cannot wait to see the finished product. Do you think you'll add tassels or anything, or leave it square at the ends?

hoping to add tassels... if I can figure it out!
