I was thinking it might be fun to do secret santa. What do you think? I have some ideas on how the whole thing would work, but I think we should have some discussion about it first. If you guys want to do it or not. Also, I noticed that there are 12 kids and 6 of us. So we could also do 2 kids each. But I'm not so sure about this since it is getting late in the year and I'm not sure everyone would have time. Or do you all think we could make it happen if we stick with little gifts?
Also, I have gotten all the responses for the questionaire thingy over the email. I will get this together and sent out soon.
Also, I made Giada's lasagna rolls tonight. They were pretty good, but Shane thought they were meatless, even though I put the proscuitto in. And dang that stuff is pricey. $19.99 a pound at Whole Foods! Good thing I only got 0.2 pound.

twenty bucks a pound??!!! sheesh. i put italian sausage in mine.
OMG..even at Safeway its only 12.99 a pound, and I thought that was bad. The secret santa thing sounds great. Maybe we should keep it small for the kids only because with working full time and alertaning weekends and changing job locations in November ( i will be commuting 20 miles each way instead of 12 miles round trip a day) and I am not sure I will be able to do everything. I would love to do the secret santa though I am in! P.S. I'm not changing my job I'm just gettting my own brand new store and the pharmacy manager hand picked me to be her pharmacy technician and I LOVE this pharmacist and can't wait to work with her, so I am willing to do the commute! Just thought I would let you know.
ok...I'm a dork I meant to say alternating not alertaning...Long day.:)
If we keep it to the kids only though then we don't get everyone... I think it should be just the Grown girls. That way it is one for each of us to make. I still vote small though!
I also thought that maybe I would just do something really small for all of the bloggers of invention. like a $5 or under something.... like coasters or hotpads, or headbands, or a little bag or something. Just thinking.
I think that a secret santa sounds fun, but I am afraid that my sewing skills aren't exactly up to par with some other's! I guess if we agree that it is the thought that counts... And keeping it small sounds great too since the holidays will be here before we can blink twice! I also think it might be good to keep it for the grown ups. That seems more fun to me.
Great idea, Marie!
No one said that I had any sewing skills either. I just attempt. That is all that matters!
Yeah...me too! I don't have much skill, just the desire to learn and you learn by doing, and I enjoy that. Keep up the great work girls!
Sorry, I have not been on for a bit. The Secret Santa thing sounds good to me too.
Does it have to be made? If so I would feel soooo bad for the person I get!
