The Twelve Days of Ornaments - Day Nine
Who knew that buttons could be so much fun. I think I needed a slightly larger range in size to make my snowman and reindeer turn out better but still, they're pretty darn cute. I may have hit an ornament craftiness wall because the best I could come up with for coal eyes and a carrot nose was permanent markers.

yes, i sure did. now i've got white and brown buttons coming out of my ears.
It could be worse. They could be coming out of your nose! :)
or my wazoo...that would be really bad.
make sure you all go out and purchase a box of 350 sequin or satin pins, 3 yards of a pretty brown ribbon that is 7/8" wide (or so) and a length of 1/4" wide christmas-y ribbon for tomorrow, ok? it'll be worth it, i promise.
