Today's ornament is courtesy of
Maria Bell who does not work with fabric, but rather paper. Her
tutorial for these glittery ball ornaments is easy to understand and the finished product is really beautiful. Don't judge her ornaments by our finished product. I worked with what we had in the house so they didn't turn out exactly like hers, but we still had a lot of fun. The only thing is that I'm sure I'll be picking glitter out of food, hair and carpeting for the next month at least.

it's very pretty. glitter scares me. it's so darn messy.
that's the glitter you gave me so consider this mess yours. i'll be expecting you here this weekend to clean it up. ;)
Also cute. You are really too creative for your own good. I need to start planning ahead more for next year so that I have the things on hand to do something like this. I think I'll make a folder on my computer called "Christmas" and start putting things in it now so that next October I can look in it and get everything I need to have to do fun stuff like this with my boys.
And as for glitter...we use it, the boys love it, and it is a permenant part of our carpet. Enough said.
