I saw this in Cookie Magazine. Never done needle point, but I think it would be neat to try. Especially as we move often. Take a peak and let me know what you think!
Actually I think this sounds like a good project for Ella and one that she'd like a lot. With homeschooling especially, once we're studying the states it's a great idea. Thanks for the link!
That is a great idea to make these! Crossstitching can be very fun and relaxing and great to do when kids are around if you can keep your concentration when working with intricate patterns. These though are nice and simple. I didn't read the whole thing but it looks like she is using yarn or think crochet thread with the platic canvas and a larger dull plastic needle. Most of the time you would probably want to use yarn though to make it think enough.
