Sewing Obsession

People are always talking about your fabric stash or your yarn stash. Well, I'd like to suggest that hidden deep in the heart of every seamstress, quilter, knitter or whatever kind of fiber you work with (except for dryer lint which is dumb) is a scissors hoarder.
I'd also like to present pin cushions as a wee bit of a problem in the hoarding area, as well as seam rippers.

I'm just sayin'.

I can totally relate to the collection of scissors - but mine are for scrapbooking. my latest purchase that i love is a small pair of super sharp scissors that are great for cutting out holes etc in the middle of paper. :)

I also have more scisors than I can count and more seam rippers than I can use. Mostly because I have a bad habit of misplacing them so I have to have several pairs for each function. I actually have three pair of embroidery scissors, but I can usually only find one pair at any given time. Right now I am lucky - I know where two pair are!

lol... I am guilty of the seam rippers, cause they are so small, but if I have more than one pair of scissors they tend to grow legs and walk off.... or get borrowed unappropriately.

hee hee. I also have scissors everywhere. I probably have 10 pair stashed all over the house.
Love your pin cushions :-)

And what yummy cupcakes they would be, too! We all know what's on Leah's mind. ;)
