Hi! We spent the last week in Wales with my husband's parents. Have I mentioned lately that I LOVE Wales? Here is the South Stack Lighthouse in Holyhead. Beautiful.
This is the the name of a town on Anglesey Island. You can try to pronounce it with the help underneath. Funny, huh? Not surprisingly, this is the longest name of any town in the world. At least, that is what my husband tells me!
Here are my kids, husband and Father-in-law outside of Dolbadarn Castle. My goodness how much we hiked.
Here we are at South Stack. Wow does Jack get heavy when you are carrying him up the side of a flippin' mountain. OK, maybe not exactly a mountain... but close enough.
And, to add SOME sort of craftiness to this post... in honor of the Yarn Harlot (who, by the way, I am going to see in London on Sept 6!) Here is my sock, or the beginning of it, at Caernarfon Castle.
NOW I am off to bed, but I promise to catch up tomorrow and take a closer look at the Jane Austen thing!

That is HILARIOUS! I love it! Awesome pictures. I'm so jealous.
It's amazing how many great places you are able to visit! I am jealous too! What a great family trip and beautiful pictures. I really like the start of the sock in front of the castle!!!!
That looks like so much fun! The kids are really fortunate that they get to see these places! I looked up the town because that is hilarious! And it means...
"St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the rapid whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave"
Isn't that even more hilarious?
