I knew better. I knew better, but I did it anyway. I loaned out my sewing machine for a few days to an "experienced" sewer from out of town. I haven't used it since, and tonight went to use it. Lets just say, that I have to have Mike look at it, and probably have to take it in for repair. The project I wanted to do tonight was just a quick zigzag hem stitch for church.... It is no longer a quick project - hand stitching it will take a lot longer.
Maybe tonight just wasn't the night to try it.... I am very tired.

Oh, so sorry. That is such an awkward situation to handle as well. Hope you are able to have it repaired quickly and cheaply!
