Here I go!

Well, I finally made it out to the store in a nearby town to pick up some wool (that is what they call yarn here) and some knitting needles!! My friend lent me her book to help me get started and we are hoping to get together early next week for our first little lesson....
Yay!
That is about all I have accomplished since all of my kids have been sick, but I am excited to get started....

Yeah, another novice knitter. I cannot wait to see if you find knitting as difficult to grasp as me and Joanna! :)

yeah, another budding knitter in the group! i am so jealous tina! that you are in england, where you get to buy Rowan yarn for so much cheaper than over here. although, that is probably the only thing there that is cheaper :) and i heard they sell yarn at department stores there!

Good Luck with that Tina, I wish you all the best. I don't have the patience for knitting, I tried and lost intrest. I do love the knitting things that I have had people give to me, but I cannot do it. I will focus on other crafty things and wish you the best. I can't wait to see what you make!
