I really like sewing clothes. Aren't you guys horrified when you go to buy pajamas for your children (Derrek counts, too Kainoa) and they cost $15 for less than a yard of fabric. I certainly am. So, as Johanna so aptly pointed out the other day, Joann's is having a 99 cent sale on their patterns. Ella and I went to there on Sunday and picked out 15 patterns and bought 8 yards of fabric. I bought the cheapest fabric I could find at $2 a yard because, well...these are pajamas. The material is light and comfortable. Don't they look cute?
We thought this picture was funny. The shutter was open a long time because I took off the flash and Sarah was jumping up and down.

They do look so cute! Did you whip those up in one day? You guys are really making me want to sew something. I keep thinking about it.
Wow! Really cute. I have "permission" from Jerry to go to JoAnn on Saturday to scope out all the sale stuff before it ends. I was there the other day to get some stuff I needed, but didn't have time to really browse. I think it is hillarious that they hand out all these 50% off coupons before hand - which can only be used on regular price things - then EVERYTHING in the store is on sale.
Anyway, off my soapbox, those are really cute.
i think if i had nothing else to do they could all easily have been done in one day, but it took me three days because of school and dinner and...well, four kids. ha ha ha! i know, sew a pillow case! it's easy as pie. ella is learning to sew and her first project is a pillow case.
you noticed that, too. i really get annoyed by that!
Those nightgowns are adorable! Your girls are all so beautiful, just wait till Lily can get in on the outfits!
Look at those sweet girls! They must be so big now. Love the little nightgowns! I have 3 boys so there's never been any nightgown or dress sewing in this house *sniff*.
