The Twelve Days of Ornaments - Day Seven

Another Paper Pleasing Idea. I like this one a lot. It's easy and pretty. I didn't have a proper scoring device so I just used my paper cutter and instead of cutting it used the end of a paint brush to score it. You have to be sure to score at exactly 1" increments or they turn out looking a bit funny like mine did. I also used hot glue since I couldn't get the double-sided tape to stick properly.

It's so pretty! Wouldn't it look fab in origami paper? It looks a little more involved. what did the girls think of it?

they liked it. especially ella. pretty much these are all an act of futility for rachel, she'd rather eat them and since i won't let her do that she's not interested. sarah is hit or miss, ella is always excited.

yes, i think origami paper would be perfect! especially as it probably already comes 6x6". i thought this green was really beautiful though. and it's got a front and a back instead of just white on the back.

I really like this one. I am amazed at the variety of items you came up with to make. Ella will remember this next year - I hope you are prepared to make this an ongoing tradition!

oh great, i didn't even think of that! next year we're only doing the seven days of ornaments. or maybe make just one or two a day instead of four. i think our tree is going to fall over pretty soon.
