Sad News....

So I think I broke my machine.... sort of. It is beyond the help of me fixing it. But atlas! I have handed it over to my hubby to try and fix. It really does pay to have a fix it type hubby.

I was doing some really fast sewing, since I didn't have to worry about being straight or not. Then the spool of thread ran out rather unexpectedly. which caused the bobbin thread to jam.... and now it just doesn't sew. Ugh.

I'll let you know if we get it fixed. Sad though. Very sad.

I hear your pain. I'm sure you remember not too long ago I "broke" my embroidery machine too. It is now fixed and working just fine. They are built to withstand a lot of abuse. If you ever get a chance, I recommend that you take a class on your machine even though you know how to sew, because they can teach you how to take your machine apart and do routine maintenance yourself. At least my class did...

Well turns out that the thread jammed and caused a two parts to break in the bobbin to break/bend, like we thought might be the case. The one part they often just fix and the second part costs $14. Labor thankfully is still covered by warranty. Sad part is that I can't get it back till mid next week.... so I either have to wait or go back to the old machine..... on second thought, I think I will wait. I also have learned.... don't sew quite as fast as the machine will allow for an extended period of time.... cause you just don't know what might happen.
